2010 sketchbook: Conan

Barbarize!

Well, this fast draw takes just a few minutes (about 5 - 10) using pilot black hydrographic marker.
Conan are one of my faves (don't need to talk this, Conan and Sandman shows here in my deviant in many forms, huh?), so to draw the cimmerian is almost automatic for me.

I just think that he looks coll drinking and mesmerizing the emptyness, thinking about his years as a pirate, as a thief or mercenary, in his life full of adventures, violence and fight against natural and supernatural enemies.

For mani people, Conan is just a barbarian with a hard head and so brutal with a weak wits. But his creator, Robert E. Howard, he is much more than this. I hope that the next movie about him bring this skills beyond the 'hack-and-slash' style.
